Mimi was joined by a lucky group of 11 travellers on a five-night trip to Naples in October 2025. Mimi’s dear friend Dr Claire Van Cleave, an expert on Old Master Drawings and the Farnese Collection, led the tour, visiting Mimi’s and Claire’s favourite places in this city that they both love. They explored the workshops of artisans and craftsmen, walked through the historic centre of Naples while learning about Neapolitan traditions of Christmas creches and the cult of San Gennaro, visited the renown Archeological Museum guided by the author of a brand new book on the history of its collections, toured the royal palace of Caserta with a great historian of its magnificent gardens, watched the full moon come up over Vesuvius from the exquisite apartment of the influential gallerist Lia Rumma, dined in private palaces and villas, saw the treasures of the Capodimonte Museum, visited the EDIT-NAPOLI design fair… and ate and laughed a lot.
